ARM Motorsports 5" Front Mount Intercooler - BMW 135i & 335i (E82/E90/E92)

ARM Motorsports' 5" stepped front mount intercooler upgrades the N54 or N55 135i and 335i's OEM intercooler, which ARM measured hitting 151°F under load. In the same test, the ARM 5" intercooler held intake air temperature to 106°F — 45° cooler — and averaged 25whp and 27wtq on ARM's own test car. Cooler, denser intake air is what lets a tune hold its timing and power under sustained boost instead of pulling back to protect the engine.

The 5" stepped core is almost 47% bigger than OEM, and the upgrade installs without any irreversible cutting or trimming to the bumper; the OEM crash bars and bumper pads stay in place.

Choosing Your Finish

Finish is cosmetic only and does not affect cooling performance. ARM's optional intercooler stencil, sold separately as the ARM Motorsports Stencil, is available as an add-on with any finish.

Construction

CAD-designed CNC aluminum connectors let you run either the OEM intercooler hoses or step up to the ARM 3" hose upgrade. Running the OEM hoses makes for a faster installation.
