Does port injection require tuning?

Yes. The additional injectors must be controlled and properly calibrated. Installing the hardware without the correct controller and calibration will not create a functional port-injection system.

Does the kit automatically make the vehicle flex-fuel capable?

No. The included hardware is compatible with common gasoline and ethanol fuel blends, but true flex-fuel operation may require an ethanol-content sensor, a compatible controller and calibration that can adjust for changing ethanol content.

Is an upgraded low-pressure fuel pump required?
