Precision Raceworks In-Tank Fuel Filter & Regulator (V2) - E9x/E8x

The Precision Raceworks In-Tank Fuel Filter & Regulator (V2) replaces the OEM plastic fuel filter/regulator assembly in E9x and E8x BMW chassis with an all-billet housing built for higher flow, lower current draw on the factory EKP pump controller, and compatibility with pump gas through race fuel.
The stock filter/regulator assembly is one of the largest flow restrictions in the E9x/E8x fuel system. Per Precision Raceworks' own flow-bench testing, the V2 unit delivers up to 37% more flow at 72 psi than a new OEM unit on a single-pump setup, and up to 43% more flow on dual-pump setups, while also reducing current draw on the factory pump controller.
Regulator Options
Four regulator configurations are available on this listing:


In-Tank 5 Bar - a preset 5 bar, 1:1 boost-referenced regulator that stays in the tank for a factory-style install with no external lines to run.

No Regulator (Supply Your Own) - swaps the in-tank regulator for a return port (AN6 ORB) so you can run your own regulator.

Micro 5 Bar Static - a static regulator that threads directly into a port-injection fuel rail, with the return line and fittings included.

Adjustable 1-to-1 - an engine-bay-mounted, fully adjustable 1:1 boost-referenced regulator for race applications; it has no check valve, so fuel pressure bleeds off when the engine is shut off.

Installation Notes
Installation follows the same process as replacing the factory filter/regulator assembly: the float arm and venturi jet transfer over from the OEM unit, and the wiring uses simple barrel-connector splices. This is not a beginner-friendly install — if you're not comfortable working inside a fuel tank, have it installed by a shop familiar with E9x/E8x fuel systems.
