Its competition core carries 50% more external core volume than the factory intercooler, and Wagner's published figures show intake air temperatures up to 20°C (36°F) cooler. Will this manifold add power on its own?
Its job is cooling. Keeping intake air temperatures up to 20°C cooler, per Wagner's figures, lets a tuned S58 hold its calibrated timing and boost instead of tapering as heat builds, so output stays consistent on repeated pulls. Peak numbers still come from your tune and supporting modifications.

Do I need a tune to install it?

Is anything cut or modified during installation?
